The pole building after a little paint and a new roof... The grass was cut too. Posted by Picasa

The side porch, entrance to the kitchen area. This is only a small amount of garbage and debris that was in and around the house. Posted by Picasa

A let go pole building. Notice the high grass and the overgrowth behind the building. Posted by Picasa

This was the front of the house... Serious damage due to water and neglect. Posted by Picasa

This "rehab" project started in the summer of 2003 as a "flip". Looking back we definately had to have a vision what this would look like when completed. You can see by the photos the grass was so high we had to cut it twice then we loaded it on a very large tarp a I used my suv to haul the grass to the back side of the property. It took us hours to cut and clean up the grass. What we found in the grass was a different story. There was so much junk and trash it took 4-5 30 yrd dumpsters before we could start on the rehab of the house. (I did find a usable 18 volt ryobi recipricating saw and battery.)

We had a test done on the septic system prior to our purchase which came back "passed". However, once we got into the house we found out the system was far from "good". There was no leach bed and the sewage was dumping out in the front due to a undersized collapsed tank. More on this subject later.

When we look back on the b4 pictures... we think someone should have sent us for a drug test!
